Founded in 1949, the French retail chain Leclerc doesn’t want to rest on its laurels – the current president, Michel-Édouard Leclerc, son of the founder, is thinking far ahead. He is currently involved in the future of retail, which needs varying concepts for its varying target groups, as he puts it. In addition, supermarkets need to become a market of enjoyment, completely networked and with flexible presentations for products.
